| ThinkCAP will be hosting a Webinar, Thursday, March 31, featuring ThinkCAP 6.0. The interactive Webinar is designed to show how ThinkCAP 6.0 can simplify and accelerate Web application development time. Steve Benfield, vice president of ThinkCAP strategy & technology evangelism, will be the host. The event is scheduled to run 2pm EST and should last 60 to 90 minutes.
ThinkCAP is primarily used in enterprise business application development. Unlike traditional code-centric tools, ThinkCAP brings high productivity not only to J2EE programmers, but also to business application developers and content managers. J2EE programmers concentrate on business logic and services with their favorite IDE while business developers, those with visual tool experience such as Visual Basic or PowerBuilder, work on building pages, page flows, and visual components using ThinkCAP's visual workbench. Version 6.0 of ThinkCAP was just recently introduced and contains numerous enhancements.
The Webinar will cover ThinkCAP's content management features and how it can be combined with a navigation component to build the base of Web sites. Also, a page flow designed will show how applications can be laid out visually and then filled in with details to make a complete MVC application. ThinkCAP easily binds visual data elements to underlying data using object-relational mapping.
The Webinar will show attendees how visually building editable forms and dataviews in ThinkCAP can be done with minimal complexity. Developers will be shown how to avoid mingling database calls into program logic in a pragmatic way with ThinkCAP's visual ORM mapping. A service flow designer in v6.0 can aggregate Web services and Java objects into a process flow with codeless data transformations.
Registration remains open. Those interested in attending must first register by visiting www.clearnova.com/ThinkCAP /switch.html
